WHAT IS INFINITE BLOC



Infinite Bloc is a website builder à la Squarespace, Wix, etc. but with a difference - we would even say its Revolutionary.


You simply choose from one of our pre-built templates (we have squillions of them) and then add to it with our existing elements or add your own.


You can do pretty much anything from a simple landing page to a huge multichannel E-commerce site.


We even built this website with it.


We do other stuff as well. but we think your here for our websites ;)





WHAT IS THE PRO ACCOUNT



Infinite Bloc has two levels.


The Free account & the Pro account.


We have chosen to create a free account for anyone to use with no commitment and then to bundle up all the additional features into a Pro account to keep it simple.


The Free account is free forever and allows you to build your own bespoke website with tons of great features and is just basically amazing. It's a great way to play around with what Infinite Bloc can do and is capable of before committing to the Pro account. It's also perfectly okay to stick with the Free version, many people do.


The Pro account is the next step up from the Free version. The Pro account includes many great features such as unlimited hosting, unlimited bandwidth, E-commerce, & the ability to connect your own custom domain at an excellent cancel any time price of £8.00 a month for everyone.


All accounts start off as Free accounts and automatically become Pro accounts at the point when you choose to connect your own domain.





I Don't Live In The UK, Can I Use Infinite Bloc In My Country?



You sure can! Currently, we only offer customer support in English, though. (Were working on that)





Is It Really Free To Get Started?



It sure is. You can build a fully functioning, great looking website for absolutely nothing; you only pay if you want to take thing Pro!





Why Are You Cheaper Than The Competition, What Am I Missing Out On?



We don't have the overheads that other people do. We're a small team so our costs are low so we can pass this onto you.

HOW DO I RENEW MY PLAN



It renews automatically. If you choose to pay monthly, it will renew monthly, the same with Yearly.





What does the Pro Subscription include?



Mainly you get to connect your own Domain. There's also access to the extended Pro site editor settings, Unlimited Hosting, Unlimited Bandwidth, E-commerce, Priority Support, & additional site functionality; it's pretty remarkable really. Plus if you don't like it & let us know within 14 days, we'll give you your money back & cancel your subscription with no questions asked.





CAN I USE AN SSL CERTIFICATE FROM A 3RD PARTY?



We're sorry, but at the moment 3rd part SSL certificates cannot be installed on IM Creator sites.


However, We offer full SSL integration at no extra cost to you cos we're nice like that, allowing you the peace of mind of that little padlock symbol in your web address provides.


So you can go ahead and cancel your existing 3rd party SSL certification as we give it to you for Free!






HOW LONG WILL MY SITE REMAIN IN MY ACCOUNT?



The sites you build with Infinite Bloc will remain in your account until you delete them, even if they have not been published, they will not 'Expire'.


You can keep your account open and return to finish building or publishing your site whenever you want.


If you forgot your username or password, it could be easily retrieved at the login page.





IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE MY REGISTERED EMAIL ADDRESS ON MY INFINITE BLOC ACCOUNT?



It is not possible to directly change the registered email address on your Infinite Bloc account.


However, what you can do is: Create a new account using your new email address Send us the email address on your new account, along with the email address on your current account. We'll then assist you with moving your sites from your existing account to your new account. Don't worry; we'll make sure the transition is a smooth one.





DOMAINS





DO YOU SELL DOMAINS?



We recommend dedicated domain sellers to purchase your domains. There are lots of them out there, GoDaddy being the most significant player and using one of these dedicated Domain sellers often means that they will bundle in a free email service. As a guide, a standard domain should cost you approximately £10 a year.


As of 2021, we (Infinite Bloc) exclusively use Google Domains.


We do have the functionality to purchase a new domain through our editor when you publish your site; please let us know if you would prefer this option and we can 'switch it on' for you.





I Already Have A Domain, Can I Connect It To My New Infinite Bloc Site?



Below is a summary of how to do this for advanced or experienced users. There is a more detailed description in our How-To pages titled Connecting An Existing Domain for those connecting a domain for the first time.


How To Connect Your Existing Domain


If you have an existing domain, it's an easy process to connect it to your Infinite Bloc site.


You can connect ANY domain you own to your new site (global - .com, .net, .info etc. or local - .fr, .co.uk, .com.au etc).


To connect a domain:


1. Click the green PUBLISH button at the top right corner of the editor. If you haven't registered already or saved the site, you will be asked to do so.


2. Choose a subscription plan and click Continue (All our subscriptions include unlimited hosting and bandwidth)


3. Insert your billing info and click Continue


4. After you successfully purchase the subscription, you will be redirected to your site. Hover again above the green Publish button and click on 'Replace Domain'.


Congrats!


Now, follow the steps in the email we sent you to set your domain with our required DNS.


See the section in our 'How To' Section entitled 'Connecting An Existing Domain' for more information.

I CONNECTED MY DOMAIN, BUT IT'S STILL NOT SHOWING MY WEBSITE



If you followed the instructions on how to connect your domain when you published your website, but it's still not showing up, there are a few reasons for why it might happen:


1) Not enough time has passed since you changed your DNS settings. It can take up to 6 hours for DNS settings to be changed at certain domain registrars.


2) Your DNS settings are not configured correctly. There might be old A or CNAME records you need to delete, or you might have entered the wrong details. Double-check that.


3) You entered the wrong domain when you first upgraded your website. If that's the case, go back to the editor and hit 'Publish'. You'll then see the domain we linked this website to and an option to 'Change' it right below. Click it to change to the right domain.

How Much Does It cost?



Its Free, or you can go Pro for £8 per month. Bargain.





How Do I Pay?



You only pay if you choose to go Pro & we take this charge if you select this option when you publish your site.


We charge a singular amount of £8.00 per month as a recurring payment, like Netflix.


We accept all major Credit & Debit cards and all our payments are processed via PayPal for your added security.


If you do not have a PayPal account, PayPal will let you enter your regular card details as a new customer.


We can also accept payments via Invoice or Bank Transfer - drop us an email to Hello@InfiniteBloc.com, and we can sort this out for you.

We keep everything as affordable as we can, to be able to offer such a great deal we keep everything trim at our end. If we were to offer discounts or voucher codes, then we would have to either raise our regular prices or find savings elsewhere to account for this. We know these days everyone wants something for nothing & so that's why we allow everyone to use our website builder for free, forever. Still, we hope you understand that by choosing to go Pro you really are getting a pretty good deal that we work hard to offer at such a competitive price.

I ALREADY PURCHASED A PREMIUM LICENCE, WHY AM I BEING ASKED TO PAY AGAIN?



There is usually just one reason for that to happen: you purchased a premium license for a different website. Did you click 'Save A Copy' since you upgraded your website? You might be working on the copy instead of the website you actually upgraded.





Is VAT Or Taxes Applied To My Order?



Infinite Bloc is a nimble company. We keep it this way so we can be responsive & agile to a changing world.


As part of this, we have chosen not to be registered for VAT as our annual turnover level is below the UK Government level; therefore, we can pass this saving onto you.


All Invoices provided will show a VAT charged of Zero.



If we were to start to charge VAT in the future, the below would be true:


IF APPLICABLE, local VAT or taxes are set automatically according to the IP of the computer you are purchasing the subscription from.

IS MY WEBSITE SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION) FRIENDLY?



Our websites are fast and efficient, like a Greased Eel - Making it easier for Google to read and analyse for better SEO and higher ranking sites. Basically, this means that your website will stand out in the quagmire that is the internet.





I RECEIVED A "MAXIMUM VIEWS REACHED" MESSAGE. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?



Our Free URLs have a limit of 100 views (visits) per day - This is only true for our free temporary URLs. Once you upgrade and connect your site to an existing domain, the will be no limit!





CAN I HOST MY SITE SOMEWHERE ELSE?



Once you build your site on our framework, it's embedded there.

We can help you to try to export your content, but a 'Lift & Shift' of your complete website would be a specialist task - the same with any other website builder.





Does My Site Need A Cookie Consent Pop-Up?



When GDPR came into force in 2018, it became law that any business based in the EU, or targeting EU based citizens must display a cookie warning & a link to your cookie policy.


Don’t be put off by this as there are plenty of pre-written cookie policies out there on the web you can use, Plus we have a Cookie Consent widget built into our website builder so its as simple as just switching it on!
